Legitimate Interests

Glass Labs Technology Limited ("Glass Labs") operates a programmatic advertising exchange. We rely on consent for every IAB Europe Transparency and Consent Framework (TCF) Purpose we use, including selecting advertising, creating and using advertising profiles, measuring advertising performance, understanding audiences through statistics, and developing and improving our services. Where a bid request does not carry consent for Glass Labs, we do not use it for those purposes.

We rely on legitimate interests only for the three TCF Special Purposes below. These are needed to serve an advertisement safely and to respect your choices, and the TCF does not allow them to be based on consent.

1. Ensure security, prevent and detect fraud, and fix errors. Our interest is keeping our exchange secure, filtering invalid and fraudulent traffic, and fixing technical faults, which protects advertisers, publishers and users from fraudulent and malicious advertising. We use IP address, device characteristics and other signals in the bid request for this.

2. Deliver and present advertising and content. Our interest is technically delivering an advertisement that has already been selected on a valid legal basis, making sure it displays correctly, and recording delivery for billing and reconciliation with our partners.

3. Save and communicate privacy choices. Our interest is receiving, storing and passing on your privacy choices (such as TC Strings and GPP signals) so that we and our partners respect them.

We have assessed each of these interests against your rights and freedoms and concluded that they are not overridden, taking into account the limited and non-sensitive data involved, our 90-day limit on event-level data, and the fact that this data is not used to build profiles or personalise advertising.
